I like to sit on my butt a large portion of the day. Working makes the day go by faster, but it's a lot of work and sometimes it's hot outside.

I like working because the day passes much faster and at the end of the day you can sit on your butt and star answering questions here.... ;)

When I was a road cop many years ago, I was working the midnight shift but hadn't had any sleep the day before. So I parked behind a plaza and rested. I didn't mean to fall asleep, but I did. When I awoke, the PD activated a helicopter unit, brought in 5 additional officers and put a BOLO for me cause I didn't answer my radio for three hours and they couldn't find me.
I was suspended for two weeks. Had to pay the overtime for the cops and the helicopter pilot---it was like 2 grand.
When I got back to work two weeks later, they had me back on mids again. I swear, it wasn't 2 hours into my shift again, and it happened again. This time I was out for like 20 minutes, and caught my most recent call.
After that, I requested a foot beat on day shift.

it depends.. sometimes i like to be lazy and not do anything...but actually working does make the day go by a whole lot faster

I absolutely hate it when there is nothing to do- I want to be busy and feel like I accomplished something, besides a wide butt.

I really like to work, I'm with you it makes the day just fly by. If there's nothing to do I find things to do.
