One of my closest friends don't like me wearing makeup. I really like him though. He just don't know.. but I don't think I look pretty without makeup. Maybe I'm thinking wrong or something. but why?? i'm so confused. does wearing alot of makeup bother guys? please help me!!

Okay, coming from a guy. I personally have a issue with makeup myself, I find it.. fake.
I like people who can accept who they are and don't feel they need to change themselves, even ever so slightly with makeup. It shows allot of inner strength to accept and be happy with who you are sometimes, and I respect that in a person.

This is my own opinion, and nothing in general, but I tend to think that women wear makeup to look better than other woman, not because a man thinks they look better with it. As such, I prefer less or none to more, but at my age, I do understand the reasoning behind wearing more. Skin ages, and certain medical problems, necessitate the need. In 1992, I had lunch with Dick Clark and I can tell you he is not as young as he appeared, it is all makeup.

Ive never met a guy who cared. Unless the girl cant really do it well. And if a guy came up to me and said that he doesnt like when i wear makeup, idask him y he felt the need to come out of the closet just then.

I think that they feel like girls who wear lots of make-up area high maintenance, or maybe they don't want to date a clown, or...I'm sure its a different reason for every guy.
I don't really think guys want a girl who wears no make-up at all. Make-up should enhance your features and bring them forward...wear make-up that doesn't exactly look like you have any on...be subtle and you shouldn't have to worry..

I like woman who wear very little or no makeup. Why would you want to wear it if people say you don't need it.

well done makeup makes a woman more attractive.
the problem is, many women exaggerate with quantity and colors (a way to hide insecurities)
by the way girls, please don't wear makeup when you go to the beach, men laugh at that, just be yourself and have fun.
being spontaneous is way more attractive than makeup!

too much makeup looks disguting on a girl maybe a cream or liquid makeup will be k but not alot of makeup its unatural

here's the thing: guys don't like NOTICEABLE makeup.
My boyfriend hates makeup, but I have a secret:
I wear i.d. BareMinerals foundation, Neutrogena Lash tint, and Smith's Rosebud Salve on my eyelids and lips and he's never noticed any of it. He thinks I don't wear anything!
