i moved here in october but i still dont have any friends. my co-workers are too old. how do i other young adults (im 24) to be my friends

If you're religious try church, it's always a good place to start. Clubs are okay, but often too loud and filled with "hunters". You like sports? Check out the home team's games, make friends with other fans in your area. Open the newspaper and check out the community weekend events, some may seem corny or whatever, but it's a good place to meet some friendly & outgoing people.

Its great to have someone older than you are for a friend. They usually give good advice because they have been your age before and guess what? That older person may have some nieces or nephews, sons or daughters that you can link up with. Never stick to one age grouping for friends. Make friends with people of all ages. You wont regret it. try going out in your neighborhood. there, you can find people of all ages in your place..
if not, you can mingle with your co-workers..
let their age not be a hindrance, rather, you can learn a lot of things based on their experiences.
