ok im with the girl in the sims on the bed cuddleing and woohooing but dont see the try for a baby icon. do i have to propose to her first if so please tell me how i have her 100 percent as a friend when i talk to her the back ground color is yellow please help me what do i need to do? to get married with her and have kids!

Keep on going out wit her, like after the 25th time propose 2 her, keep on makin love itll eventually say try for baby, 2 make it a kid (the baby) Bring it up 2 a kake, i cooldnt do it, butt.... should work. If all else fails, create a family wit a baby & on the genes screen make the parents spouses...Good lukk

I think it's because the person is already pregnant, if not, the is tired or somethin, if not the it may because she's not "experiensed" enough, so do it more.. here's a nifty tip: after your sim has tried for a baby listen closely to hear baby music..it might take a while, but if she's pregnant, u'll here it.. O YAH, cool tip, if u like tell someone to go star gazin around 7 or 12 pm or somethin a space shuttel wil take your person and when it come back the sim will be pregnant with an alien!!! I can't get a girl pregnant with aliens so far, but i got those strange brothers, ya know, lazlo and the other 2 bros, pregnant with aliens, they're S CUTE,

make sure your short term and long term relationship score with her is high (90 or more), you also need to at least be in love with her. (look at the bottom of her portrait. if there is a heart there, than you're in love).
Click on her and look for the option that says 'propose'. click on that, and it should have a few options including one that says 'marriage' or 'engage' (can't remember which). Chances are, she'll say yes. If so, you're still only engaged. Either do the above again, only this time click marriage or buy the wedding arch object (if your game has it) and click on it after placing it. The two of you will get married and then you should be able to try for a baby.

I don't think to have a baby, in The Sims 2, it is required to be engaged or married. But if it is though the only way, just try to be married, make her do the command "Try For A Baby" and if you don't like it just load the game by quiting to the main menu without saving the game. On the other hand if it's a glitch then you'll have to create a new character.

Hello....
You don't have to be married to have a baby. In one of my families. The wife cheated and had a baby by another man. Hey it happens (lol)... The only way that you can get her to have a baby if you are teens or young adults that is the only thing. Other then that... You should be good to go... So keep up on the sim lush stuff. (lol)

If the Sim you're talking about is a Maxis Sim and she doesn't live in a house somewhere where you can control her and make her cook and choose her clothes, then you cannot get pregnant with her. She either has to be moved in so you can control her by clicking on her, or you have to propose to ask her to move in or marry.
Once you control her, then you can get her pregnant.

you can get pregnate by just wooohooing. You have to have the relationship at 100 on both sides before you can get engaged. I always have to do something fun together or give backrubs, serenade. Its a lot easier to make the kid when you are creating the family, the womans energy and hunger are constantly low and i have killed a lot of women by starving them to death. It is equally hard when you already have kids and be pregnate.
