There are so many options at the drugstore, but I would use clean and clear products. Get a foaming acne scrub, and deep cleaning astringent by clean and clear. Then get a vanishing cream form clean and clear or clearisil, but make sure it has 10% benzoyl peroxide. Most stuff has only 2%, so the stuff with 10 is great on pimples that are large and red! Make sure the scrub you use has at least 2% salylical acid! Pore strips are also great, cause clogged pores lead to black heads! ~I used proactiv for months, and then i tried prescriptions, but it didn't work. I tried the things i listed above and now i am seeing results. The astringent is magic!!! ~Good luck~

For me, nothing works. They are having some sort of deal on proactive now, I think it's $19.95 or something for a month. I used to use it, and it just kind of stopped working. I use Neutrogena now but that doesn't work like I want it to. I think they're all the same.

To save some money on Proactive when it's not on sale, try Ebay!! That's what I did.

I'm not really sure, but before you try proactive you might want to just try talking to your doctor. I used proactive, and it didn't work, it actually made my acne worse. We tried to return it, because, after 60 days if there isn't an improvement they claim they'll give you your money back, it had been about 50 days and they told us 'Keep using it, it'll work.' Well now I'm on a prescription acne medication.

get a nutrogena face watch with sylic acid, oh and by the way, your better off just spending your money trying to find the right face wash in the drug store than buying proactive. it's a total rip off.

The active ingredient in ProActive is benzoyl peroxide (2%...I think). Get something with 2% benzoyl peroxide.
