If they were served (and you sent in the proof of service with the date they were served), and they have not responded within 30 days you should get granted the divorce. I think that is what you mean. If you are asking if someone can refuse to divorce you, no they can't.

If you re talking finances then they come after the one that makes money and if they cant make arrangements with you they take you to court and attach your wages. If you didn't specify throughout your divorce to divide all the debts equally then be prepared to be sued.
