I mean, both are atrracted to the oppsoite sex. But men seem to be waiting for women to come to them most of the time. Why is it so? Women and men need to have equal power!

Because all women want one man to satisfy all of their needs and all men want all women to satisfy their one need.
Think about it. A woman wants to be attractive enough to catch that one man. Guys want any woman and just hope she is attractive to boot.
Guys wait for the girls because they are tired of being rejected by those looking for that one man. So they figure a woman that comes to them is an easier catch and little chance of rejection.

Well the roles have been reversed for a minute now....and men have taken the role that women occupied for a long time... women are making more money than men...women are supporting men alot more... and then there are always more women then men almost everywhere you go nowadays. So women have become the aggressors

that is on the nature of women to be attractive, and from men in must cases nobody expects them to be attractive, which is changing, nowadays even men tray to be attractive but unfortunately it is not to attracted women, but it is statue of today es being in, and for job, I don't think that men want the women to come to them, if so they ain't attracted to this women, That happens even rarely, men are always attracted to a women, that is in their natcher it is sort of hunt, and like a Hahn they like to have a harem, and are in seldom case satisfied with only one partner.

To your comments underlying your question, I think it's nature. Most living animals' male are better looking than their female counterpart. Look at fishes, peahen, peacocks, rooster & hens. Take the peacock for example, they show their 'hansome' feathers to attract the peahen. Only human are exceptional.
Here's to your question. In nature, woman are not trying to be attractive, but they are born attractive. Sorry man, but we are just created that way, it's not our choice. Woman have more confidence and curves to flaunt their bodies. I groom to feel fresh and good, not to attract.

interesting... if every woman just waited like that, there would be one hoe to snatch up tha men. So that is Y everyone else has to compete and you kno. But for real, women should have men come to them and cater to them.

ain't it crazy, women get there hair done nails did, make up on and take hours to get ready and we just take a bath and put on some decent clothes and still get the same reaction...
