I am in agreement with it, but not because I am prejudice, bc I'm not , but just want input on your feelings? Interesting:

I feel it's kind of silly. I certainly never felt that only whites can be racist. I define "racist" as anyone who thinks human beings can be divided up into subgroups called races. (I don't.)

It seems to me the real problem would be prejudice, wouldn't it? in other words, after someone divides humanity up into subgroups, then they say one subgroup is "better" than another subgroup.

It all seems pretty childish to me. I prefer to think we are all human beings and the fact that we all look slightly different doesn't change our basic human nature.

Not all colored people are like that. I have white friends, advisors and teachers. I do not call them those names. I respect them and interact with them like they were any other skin color. Why would you need a white history month if you have the whole other 11 months to be white. Some things are true like only colored people getting certain scholarships but that is because most colored people don't have a lot of money. You want to shake your fist in the air and yell "White Pride"? Go ahead, I'll be next to you. I wouldn't go stealing your stuff or attacking you or hurting you because of my color. Color doesn't define how a person acts. The person defines how it shall act. Not only whites can be racist. Asian people can be racist. Black people can be racist. Hispanics can be racist. Tongans can be racist. Being racist is focused on the ideas that are brought to him not the skin color of the person.

I think that anyway that you look at it, making generalities is pretty lame...you might as well ask why all the people with blue eyes would yell at me if I said that brown eyed people should have an exclusive club. Generalities (no matter what they are based on) will lead to prejudices and eventually hate. We are all minorities in one way or another....so "Why can't we be friends, why can't we be friends?? The color of your skin don't matter to me, As long as we can live in harmony" =]
But interesting nonetheless...WET....hmmm... =]

It's pretty sad that a lot people feel this way. Too bad we couldn't all be one color, huh? Then there would be none of this nonsense that goes on in the world (as far as being called racist). I'm glad you posted this because it allows us to do a check on ourselves and what we need to do to make this a better place.

You find racism in all ethnic groups. Unfortunate but true. There are some groups that cling to racism. I am beginning to believe they would not have it any other way. What would some people whine about and demand if they did not have racism?
