She has been a widow for 10 years. But whenever we go out, she always brings him up and I think that puts a damper on her chances. What should I tell her

Your friend does not NEED to find a man. Let her look for someone when she's good and ready.

Sounds like she don't want no one else. I'd let her be b/c it sounds like she wants to only be a widow once. Depends on how old she is too, my mom lost her husband, she said she will never marry again, that was it ,so you know its her choice...maybe she wants to be buryed beside him and it would be kind of weird to be remarried and buried by your late husband and a different last name. Some people love for life and its a rare quilaity and I think she will be just fine.

she found the one true person who she will love the rest of her life. She doesn't need a man ......when she finds somone who loves her for her and accepts her for how she feels then she might start dating again....... let her do it just be there thru it that's ur job as a friend.
