how do I get rid of "error on page"?

while surfing the web I noticed "error on page" sign at the bottom of monitor. I wanted to stay on the web site so continued and visited other sites. Now I cant delete it..Can anyone tell me how?

The error on page is caused by that website having a problem in it's coding. The symbol should disappear when you navigate to a new site, if not - try closing all your open internet browser windows and re-open them.

Try updating your pc. Open Internet Explorer, tools and then windows update. Regards.
