I believe I have tried to do that, from time to time. The more involved I became in the care of my elderly parents, the more my relationship with my sister deteriorated. I've OFTEN thought that if God were to sit down with us ,he would say;(first ,to my sister)..."You know. She's(me) not the bum you think she is. "Then he'd turn to me and say: "And YOU are not the saint you think you are."
It's rather amazing that you would ask this question and use the VERY word that I have used! Ain't life funny?
