I love graphic tees and shorts such as denim, khakis. I also dress in soild colors or school clothes. I wear jeans and sweaters and hoodies in the winter. I see so many girls at my school dressing so different then me. I am going to be a senior so how can I step up in my dress. Not too much though. I'd like some long necklace beads and stuff that's in style but doesn't reveal alot. help! i'll add details as the suggestions come in. thanks!

Don't buy shirts with cartoons on them, get a sexier shoe, add some jewelery, and maybe a new hairstyle. Use sweaters instead of hoodies, and you can keep the jeans. Maybe look for a cleaner line of the clothing cut - avoid the baggy look in anything. Get a nice purse that fits you proportionally, and you are good to go.

nice jeans are alway good. plain colors, nothing with patterns on or that are ripped. Wear some nice blouses (shirts), that are colorful. cute shoes and accesories with it. make it simple, and don't be TOO trendy. Don't wear everything that is in at the same time.
By the way; i'm 30 and I still wear graphic tees and wear shorts. Dress how you feel, and not after how other people think you should dress. good luck in school.

Old Navy is wonderful and CHEAP. Target has great cute shoes. Add some cute shoes to any outfit. A cute pair of flip flops always dresses things up!

The Gap and Old Navy have good plain clothes that are just a little bit fancy - so you can be comfy and still dress a little more mature.

You can hire a fashion stylist that will shop with you and give honest feedback..look at magazines and copy the outfits in them. Don't try to be like others or you will fade into the crowd. You need your own individual style to show....and dress to accentuate the good features of your figure and play down other less desired features.Good luck

I would suggest banana republic and cap, but if you wear jeans and sweaters , i don't what difference they are I find jeans and sweaters suitable for any age.
