I just want to build a solid wood workbench for the garage. Any good plans out there?

I built a 12-drawer workbench with 6 side shelves, a tool compartment, a 3' x 8' countertop, and a perforated masonite backing, with a marker board and fluorescent down lighting...all for about $500. It is my greatest masterpiece. Send me $100 and Ill give you the plans I designed :)

If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you should use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Go here https://tr.im/GKvhY
Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.
