Are women runners the most commonly attacked people in the US? If not, who is?

Well, if you are white, you are pretty safe.
It is hard to measure, but I would also go with prostitutes. They have illegal jobs, so they aren't exactly friendly with cops, hence they do not report a huge majority of violence. They get attacked by Johns, who know they won't report, who don't want to pay, who are scummy and just like treating people bad/rough.

Then there are the pimps, who need to stay in control so they can keep taking the money she earned.

They also work in areas where the scummy people are, who are more likely to get violent.

Then there is the history of the women, who are more likely than most people to have already suffered abuse as a child, from family mostly.

So due to the nature of their job, location and vulnerability, I would say that prostituses, per capita and perhaps overall, are the most attacked/abused population.

I believe the most commonly attacked people in the US are convenience store workers on the night shift and taxicab drivers.

Muslims, blacks and gays are attacked the most, although if you count verbal attacks, George Bush is coming on strong as a victim.
