Depending on your computer and the camera, most modern digital cameras are detected by the computer when you plug them in using a USB cable.

Often, once plugged in the camera will then show up as a removable storage device from the "My Computer" icon either on your desktop or in the start menu.

In any case, if you bought the camera new, it should have come with a manual - or have one on CD.

Sounds like you may not have the CD. In this case go to the camera"s manufacturer and download the drivers. Once these are installed your computer will recognize the camera as a drive.

well i think the camera was supplied by a driver CD, if i am correct, you will need to insert it to the C: then go through the simple steps, then plug the wire and download you images to your hard drive.

best to read the user manual first

hope that helped,

Install the software CD that probably came with it. If you didn't get one, contact the manufacturer via phone or website.
