Add the sender's address to your "block" list. Most email services provide this feature.

With Yahoo web-based mail you have two options. Go to your email page, click Options, click Spam Protection, and set the filters the way you want. (I have mine set to hold for one week, and to add the sender's email address to my blocked addresses list.)

Now when you receive mail you wish to block you can simply check the box next to the post and then click on the "spam" button at the top or bottom of the page. This will delete that post and add the sender's address to your block list.

Alternatively, you can open the post (carefully avoiding looking at the oogy stuff), highlight and copy the sender's address, open the Options page, click Block Addresses, paste the address in to the Block field, and click the Add Block button.

PS: One person mentioned the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of some spam posts. Never, EVER click on this link. It will only confirm that your address is active, and the spammer will sell your address to other spammers, thus increasing - not decreasing - your daily dose of spam.

If you have Yahoo email, you can go to options and request that they immediately delete all your bulk mail. If one slips through, click on spam and that will take care of that joker. I don't know how other emails work, but I have them delete bulk mail because I realized that I never looked at it and just had to hand-delete them. Make sure all the people you want to hear from are put in your address book.

u get the emails becuz u probably go to the sexually explicit websites. they have tracking cookies so whenever u go to their website, they install spyware cookies. and whenever u type in ur email address, the spyware cookies detect it and so thats how they get ur email. the best thing is to sign up for a new account and try to stop visiting those sites. either on accident or on purpose.

If they arrive in your bulk folder, click the box next to sender then click "move to." Move it to the inbox. From the inbox, click to check the box next to sender, then click SPAM. The address will be put on your "blocked" list.

You might want to be more careful in choosing the sites to visit.

Another option would be to set your security a little higher.
click Tools
Internet Options
click Security

I have mine set to medium. I still get some junky e-mail in my bulk folder - but I click the "check all" button, the click "delete." They are all gone at once.

Make a safe list-all the ones that want to receive e-mails from and indicate only those on the safe list should be accepted-all others will automatically be deleted. Also contact your e-mail provider by e-mail,phone whatever-there may be violation of law of those sending you these e-mails.
