You can contact the President of the United States at:

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, D.C. 20500

As you say, I don't think you're likely to get a reply, but it certainly never hurts to try.

Just address it: President George W. Bush, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, D.C. 20001 (?). By the way, what good do you think it might do?

There is a web site. I have written and though he hasn't written back I have had every issue and/or concern responded to by someone. I feel strongly that it is important to let people in power know how what you think about things....good and bad.

Go onto whitehouse.org. There is a section where you can e-mail the white house (and I assume the president).
