There are quite a few reasons. He HAS done great things for the people in MA. No one has the b*lls to go against him in the election because he is a Kennedy.
AND
As much as he's screwed up his personal life, he is a good senator.

Cause Ted Kennedy dispite everything everyone sees on CNN and CSPAN has actually done A LOT of good for Massachusetts and the Democratic party. I mean A LOT of good. Why do you think he is always drunk. He is always celebrating!

the folks in mass. get lot's of pork with ted[chivas regal]Kennedy in there.....they don't seem to mind having a pixalated flounder as a senator...and one who has difficulty when driving on a bridge.
