back or forward. what is up with that?

It sounds like you are talking about the address bar, because Yahoo! home page doesn't have back and forward arrows.

Click View > Toolbars > Address Bar. Make sure Address Bar is check marked.
If your browser is like mine the address bar isn't listed under View, Toolbars. If it isn't listed and you have a full screen with nothing at the top of the screen, press the F11 key on your keyboard to restore your address bar. You can press the F11 key again to go back to full screen if you want. If you just want your address bar to appear temporarily when you have a full screen, just move your cursor to the very top of the screen and it will make your address bar drop down so you can use it and then it will go back to full screen.

Do you mean your internet browser? If so, you could be in full screen mode, which gets rid of your toolbars etc. This doesn't sound like a Yahoo issue.

If so, press the [ F11 ] key in most browsers to toggle in and out of full-screen mode.

have u tried looking in tools for address bar, and for the arrows? if so, call tech support
