*A sentence is a group of words that expresses a complete thought. All sentences start with a capital letter.

-Four types of Sentences-

1. A sentence that makes a statement is a DECLARATIVE sentence. It ends with a period.

2. A sentence that asks a questions is an INTERROGATIVE sentence. It ends with a question mark.
Example) What are you going to wrap?

3. A sentence that gives a command or makes a request is an IMPERATIVE sentence. It ends with a period.
Example) Help me. Please hold the box.

4. A sentence that shows excitement or strong feeling is an EXCLAMATORY sentence. It ends with an exclamation point.
