Ok This is a time for learning to do an online scan.
Go to ewido.net/free scan and it will run a scan online of your computer.
You will have to download the active X progran to scan but no program.
I hope you have a good Anti virus program. AVG is the best.

A pop up is nothing but another browser window which is opened due to some Javascript on a page at the browser.
All the browsers are compelled to execute the Script that is in the webpage.
Later this gave scope for putting some ads and some other extra info apart from main web page.
To stop this we have 2 options .
1. Install a plugin into the browser which stops auto opening of new window.These are called popup blockers.
2. Update the browser software.That is what New versions of netscape and IE (7.0 beta) are doing.

You have to pay nothing to download Google or Yahoo Toolbar and you can get a pop up blocker in that Tool Bar.

You really have to download the programs that stop it. There's no other way. Yahoo toolbar is great for pop-ups and other programs are great to stop spyware and viruses.

The newer versions of Netcape and IE both have pop up blockers that work pretty good. The Lavasoft program is also pretty good at eliminating spyware (a frequent cause of unwanted pop-ups). Best of all, it is free.

That is difficult wit out downloading anything, learn a program language and create one your self if that is to hard download any or all of the above :)

Pop ups are a sign of spyware. You will have to download a program to get rid of it.

scan your computer with an antivirus and antispyware software regularly.
update windows.
set your personal firewall.
