I ask this because I live in a blue state and have voted democratic in the past. But, lately, the democratic party seems to be doing everything it can to self-destruct. The far left activists all seem to have no other agenda than to critisize the present administration. We don't need more anti-this and anti-that rhetoric - we need solutions and agendas that will help this country regain the world's respect and support.
And I fully realize that the fringe element of the left doesn't speak for the entire party - and, yet, the party doesn't seem to object to all of the crap, half-truths and outright lies that are aimed directly at the present administration. I am not a staunch Bush supporter, but I'm slowly getting so sick and tired of the other side that their stredegy is backfiring ! Serious comments welcome - Bush bashing will only help support my position.

I read through your whole answer and I really like what you say. I don't always agree with Bush but I do respect him a lot.

Half my family is Democrat so I get to hear the other side. I just really don't like what I am hearing on their side.

Also, not yet one month ago the Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Al Gore rallied Al Sharpton and the "Rev." Jesse Jackson to oust Joe Lieberman (a man they had running for Vice in 2000) in the election. I mean seriously calling on these two nuts to out a guy on their side with the exception of one thing? That isn't smart.

Take this thought to the financial enterprise. Hillary will run, yet she would have the ability to no longer get the events nomination. Democrats comprehend she is to polarizing, and countless female electorate do in comparison to her. She might only be huge-unfold between the main dedicated democrats. She would not postpone nicely against a reasonable republican like John Mcain, or Rudi Guilioni. additionally undergo in thoughts that for the period of maximum situations in presidential elections, senators do no longer win. With that for the period of thoughts, then you definately might desire to look at govenors. if so i might think of a reasonable democrate like bill Richardson might make a great decision, and can have extensive based help

Right now don't see anyone. Myself mostly Republican I don't see anyone for a candidate.. Dem's worse, far left, remember its early. We need a strong 2 party system in the U.S. Helps keeps the kooks in-line both sides. Right now both want to make the other party look bad, don't believe the far out media. Bush made mistakes he appears weak by trying to get along with the other side. He is not a good leader for the Republican party.

I think they plan on doing something outrageous like nominate Hillary Clinton. Which plays right into the self-defeating agenda that you were talking about. They will nominate Hillary, lose in a landslide, then the bickering about how "stupid red-neck red staters stole the election bla bla bla" will reach a fever pitch, further alienating themselves from middle America and further setting themselves up for another defeat in 2012.

But that's just my prediction.

Sorry but I left my crystal ball at the bowling alley, you have to vote your conscious, the present administration has left itself open to criticism because it has made so many decisions that have been bad for the American people.

Edit: Really LeAnne, Bush does suck. His is probably the most destrutive of all the administrations in the past. Just look at how he has devided the American people.

1. Q: Who? A: Some Left-wing hack, like Gore and Kerry.

2. Q: Prayer? A: Left-wing hacks don't pray. They want a separation of Church and State (which isn't in the Constitution).
