i dont know if this will work for your computer. but if you restart your computer while it says hp or whatever push ctrl and f11 at the same time it may bring up system restore you got to do this before the black windows xp loading screen comes up

Call hp and give then ur model # and they could give u 1 but u have 2 pay.

Don't need one! Go to 'Start', 'All Programs', 'Accessories', 'System Tools', 'System Restore'.
