yes u can use the tv as ur monitor
but u must have a port called S-video on ur graphic card

You'll need to purchase a TV tuner card. Do a search on google, or check out BestBuy, Amazon, or any other major electronics retailers. In most cases, it can go both ways (Transmit the Television signal to your pc, or use your TV as a computer monitor).

It's possible with many add-on video cards, but why would you want to? PC monitors produce much clearer images than a TV will. You'll probably be disappointed. However, it is handy if you want to record what you are doing on the PC to videotape or DVD.

I use an S-Video cable . Go to the control panel and configure your display settings to make it work. On XP you can have the tv or tv and monitor both active.

yes you can. you need to get an s-video out card and a sound card. the s-video needs to plug into the s-video port on the tv and you need an rca - phono 1/4 jack splitter. You then need to choose a free port on the back of the tv to plug the audio and s-video into. Waa --lahh...
