I'm liking the sound of The Wraith, personally. Revenant is good, but a little long and involved, and in my opinion a superhero name has to be kind of short and to the point.

All of these names have been used. They are also the names of things.
I think the best way to choose a cool Superhero name is to first create the storyline.
The beginning. Those names are cool, but so is Blade, Nick Fury, The Thing, and so on and so on.
I am creating a character who is called Redeemed.
I am still working out the details.

the Specter is already a DC character ... The Revenant sounds cool for a title of the book.
How about The Saviour, Dark Breed, Azeral, Az-Wrath, The Fury ( like after Greek Mythology.) Graveyard, Black, Twizt, Slit, Warback.

I personally like Wrath and Shade. Here are some more:
- Avenger (Finds wrongdoers and does to them what they did to others. Works with Revenge. Avenger finds the wrongdoers)
- (The) Furby (omg, furby where!?! hide me!)
- Witchgirl (uses her witchcraft to stop bad guys)
- Darkling (Half man, half shadow beast, when it gets dark out he lets his inner demon feed on the fears of villains)
- Revenge (Finds wrongdoers and does to them what they did to others. Works with Avenger. Revenge punishes the wrongdoers)
- (The) Shadow (Can meld with shadows and teleport from one to another)
- Misfit (A small child who blows things up with her hands by chargeing them with bits of her soul that break off)
