it only shows up two days out of the week in each area.
friday and monday it takes you from olivine to vermillion. wednesday and sunday it goes from vermillion to olivine
take the train. its faster. sure, it doesn't have the trainers... hrm... yea, that's probably what you wanted, trainers.

There are only two days available to travel to Kanto is at Monday and Friday.
But you should fly to vermilion city by surfing east from newbark town until you reach near Tojon falls. You can fly to vermilion there.
