is a game boy pocket a game boy micro? i just bought my son a game boy pocket off ebay and i can't find the games for that platform, only game boy micro etc.

No gameboy pocket is the old gameboy...gameboy was the 1st then gameboy pocket, then gameboy color, then gameboy advance, then gameboy advance sp. then gameboy micro...the system you bought is kinda really old and useless now because all the latest games are out for the gameboy advance/sp/micro. Good luck and hope your son likes his gift.

no a gameboy pocket is not the same as a gameboy micro. The reason you cant find any games for it is because gameboy pocket only uses the old orignal gameboy games from like 1993. p.s. try getting a used gameboy advance sp from amazon.com its basicly the same thing.
