Whenever I shave my legs, it seems like my left leg gets a better shave than my right one. I have bought the Veet mousse, but haven't tried it yet. My question is, which way do you shave? Up or down? When I tried shaving down, towards my foot, no hair was removed. But, when I go up, my one leg, my right leg, gets cuts. Please help!

I know this hurts but it does work. When you are in the shower shave with out any thing just water.

Believe it or not I use men's shaving cream, (Colgate brand) because it is a lot easier on my skin. I think the ones that are made for women focus too much on how the stuff smells and not so much on how good of a job it does. I also shave "against the grain" and I hardly ever get cuts unless my razor is brand new. I hope that helps :-)

Upwards, not downwards.
Try a new brand of razor - a better razor should cause you less irritation & cuts (like Venus or Intuition or Shick Quatro for women)
Or switch to using veet if you are having a hard time. Follow the directions carefully.

you are supposed to shave against the growth of the hair...........so depending on which way you hair grows --shave the opposite direction
My sister-in-law hair on her legs grows both directions...below the knee down --above the knee up
me all down and some sideways
Veet is good too
Get sensitive razors if you cut easily
New razor will slice me up every time I keep them quite a while...give me an old razor any day over a new one

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

nicely if u elect alluring legs, you may desire to WAX i'm sorry yet shaving will continually depart th;ose marks and there is rather no longer something u can do approximately it. waxing is astonishing becuz it purely takes some seconds and injury for the 2nd. and it lassts plenty longer than shaving

you have to shave when you skin is softened by the warm water in the shower. then use a soap or cream to lather it up and possibly lotion before you get in the shower. the type of razor is important also, it doesn't have to be expensive or have 25 blades.
it should be kind of good though.
