Most definately - history is full of sociopaths. It is part of the disorder that you have complete disregard for the feelings and welfare of others - that you value no one but yourself. There are sociopaths who are able to pretend and never take it to the lengths of killing someone - but those people always have troubled relationships with others and are unable to make connections with people because they lack empathy and consideration which is the cornerstone of all human relationships.

It's been shown in psychological studies that some people are actually born seemingly "heartless," meaning they are sociopaths and don't have the same physical and psychological reactions as the average person when it comes to empathy and compassion.
To have antisocial disorder means you are (at the best) at high risk for being the type to take advantage of others, commit crimes, and do minor things like kill animals.
At its worst, sociopaths are known to murder and steal with an extremely zealous nature.
Now, if your question is "can I personally try to become heartless," I would say probably not. If you have a sense of compassion or empathy for another living being, it would be truly difficult to repress such feelings. It seems like the only possible way would be if you went through a highly traumatic event that scarred you for a very long time and you lost the ability to have those feelings for others (as in PTSD).

probably not, even hitman and murders feel remorse, unless they are certified sociopaths or psychopaths, but dont think you'll be some stone cold bad *** if you achieve this, being 100% heartless would simply make you the most immature and ignorant person in the world. the "heart" is what gets you out of danger and etc, if you had no heart whatsoever you'd be in jail in the blink of an eye, you'd go kill a couple people if you even had the innitiative to do it, then you wouldn't run away but there would be no point, you wouldn't be able to see the impact of going to jail for life or getting the death penalty. simply put, if you were 100% heartless you'd probably be katatonic because nothing would have a point whatsoever

My guess is no, you need to be born that way. As stupid and as brutle as humans can be, they need a center in their self that gives social sanity to their cause in life. In some people that center may rest on a fiction and therefore have no real socially existent ego ideal. Even Hitler had such a thing. People who are born heartless, have not that constituent in their human essence known as love. For these people, others with love seem unpredictable, untrustable, not understandable or incomprehensible. They are seen as inferior, while someone like Hitler had an obcessive prejudice, paranoia, a fiction which developed a consistent, persistent hate reaction. For him, all others were lovable, if not actually loved.

Referring to what? The Kingdom Heart reference, or on a personal level? If personal, no. I think whether you or anyone likes it or not, there is a little bit of good in each person whether they like it or not. Unless they support Fallout Boy, then maybe that is 100% heartless, or maybe thats mindless.

it takes conditioning. you must first become accustomed to repetitively performing heartless acts and then, you must condition yourself into believing that you are doing a GREATER GOOD by performing the dastardly tasks that no one else has the heart (i mean, BALLS) to do.

Absolutely. It's not hard at all. In fact the challenge, in my opinion; is to remain compassionate.
