I'm really suprised you didn't ask this question in the lgbt section. Or maybe you did, and I missed it.
The different combo's in a lesbian relationship are as myriad as those found in a straight relationship. My partner and I both happen to be a little of both. This would be like asking what the most common type of couple is in a straight pairing. I have friends who are straight. She is a carpenter and he is a day care teacher. I also know a couple where the woman is a stay at home mom and the guy is military, special ops. There are all kinds of couples in the straight world. What makes you think that lesbian couples would be any different? We don't limit ourselves.
