Popping will scar, so I wouldn't reccomend it. Run hot water in a sink and lean over it, so the steam hits the area. This will open the pores and help speed up the healing process.Toothpaste is not acne medicine and the flouride and/or whitening ingredients in it can temporarily bleach your skin (personal experience). You don't want to hear this, but don't mess with it too much. A pimple is an imflamed pore, and scrubbing it, popping it, or touching it too much, will just inflame it more. It sucks, but just try to ride it out.

Hi,
I am a dermatologist by profession and within a careeer of 10 years I have seen lots of acne problems. According to me Red and white pimples are the worst and painful. Acneprone skin is very sensitive, even if you touch it once the redness will increase with itching. According to me there is no magical way to heal your pimples over night as this is the puffed part of your skin due to the bacteria.

In simple words try to improve your diet and have lots of water that helps in healingg process. Un-necessary oily food should be avoided to get a healthy spotless skin.

toothpaste works really well. Put it on at night and wash it off in the morning. Just make sure your face is clean first. But it has to be the paste kind not the jel. crest works well. Neutragina also makes an acne cream. That stuff although a little pricey does wonders. You can use it as preventative too. Just make sure not to use too much or it may dry out your skin. It the pimples are really red and painful then put a warm wash cloth on them.

Don't pop them or they will scar. Take it from me, read some of my other posts on Acne care. Wash your face then use an acne cream that has benzoyl peroxide to make them go away and put cortisone cream on them to relieve the pain.

Might sound weird and something crazy to do. But, toothpaste really works.

Don't have to go out and buy a expensive brand use the one you have at your

house. How long you leave it on is truly up to you. Some leave it on for a few

minutes. Some leave it on till it starts to split. And don't leave it on

overnight. I'm not a wild sleeper I sleep on my back so I leave it on overnight

since I don't go to bed till like 1 in the morning and have to wake up at 5.

DO NOT POP IT. Not only will that make it more painful, it will cause more pimples! And toothpaste works like a charm. I use Aquafresh for that problem. Wear it over night. By morning, the toothpaste should have it popped already. If not, keep using it.
