I've recently gotten into Philip K. Dick's stories, and I'd heard that ASD is a more faithful adaptation than Blade Runner, Minority Report, and the other films based on his books were. You have to have an open mind and an active imagination to appreciate the psychological weirdness/genius of PKD's stories, and Scanner was no different. I loved it, and I plan on buying it when it comes out on DVD.

The first 15 minutes were fine, but the dream I had while the movie played was way better
