Never stoop to their level.
That makes you as bad as them.

No. I've found out, and I didn't believe it until I witnessed it several times, that what comes around goes around. It really, honestly does. I've seen SO many people get done to them exactly what they did to someone else first. Revenge is more about personal satisfaction, and it's temporary and very fleeting. It's much more satisfying to be patient and wait until they get hit square in the face with whatever they did, and then you have nothing to feel guilty about and no blame or responsibility to absolve.

God does not want us to get revenge. If the people need to be punished by law then call the law, but do not take personal revenge.
Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

No, I don't. As a Christian, I believe (and have to keep reminding myself) that it's God who will deal with people who do you wrong. Revenge is not for us- we're not to judge. That's His job. Telling myself this also gives me peace of mind, knowing that I can just let it go, and it WILL be taken care of by one who is completely just, and not rash. Our taking care of it in revenge is often rash and to be regretted. For these reasons, I don't think revenge is right.

I do not believe revenge is fair. All it will is hurt you in the long run. I have had my share and i learned from my mistakes. It takes a real person to work it out properly

Vindication - what you call revenge - is part and parcel with law. One may forbear, or waive. Depending. But it stands as such. Apart from ourselves the law will carry out it's sentence.

It is not dependent on governments or men in uniform.

No, revenge is wrong, unless of course they kill one of your loved ones. That's when you can go and rip their heart out and eat their organs and toss the rest in the trash bin.

No, karma will do that for me.
Plus, if you try to exact revenge, you are earning dirty karma for not allowing life to teach the one you sought vengeance upon.
Blessed Be.
