No, They've juggled the divisions around enough. Time to leave them alone and let the rivalries develope.

No, the divisions are as good as they're going to get. Remember back when the Atlanta Braves played in the National League West? What was up with that? It would cause a whole controversy as to what teams would compose the South Division. It can't be the deep south, because there are no MLB teams in the deep south, unless you count Florida as deep south. If you were going to have a conservative division, only the Marlins, Devil Rays, Astros, and Rangers would be included, and the Marlins and Astros play in the NL, and Rangers and D-Rays play in the AL, so they'd have to change leagues. A liberal South Division would include the Padres, Dodgers, and Diamondbacks. So a South Division would never work. Sorry if I got your hopes down.

My immediate reaction was the same as Duncan's. Leave them be and rivalries will crop up. You're suggesting putting all Southern teams from both leagues in one division - that would be Atlanta, Tampa, Florida, Houston and Texas? Am I missing anyone? What would be the purpose? It would have to go in one league or the other.

I agree with the other answers. Its to complicated. What could be better is to have a salary limit so the big teams don't get all the good players.

No. I think MLB has it perfectly right now. Except for the whole 3 strikes thing. They really need to change that. Just kidding. What they really need to do is HATE THE MINNESOTA TWINS!
