By the sound of it, seems like your default homepage is set to popcorn.net. If that's the case, open up Internet Explorer, then click on Tools>>Internet Options>>General and then set the first field to blank.
Sometimes your pc may become infected with a virus that automatically sets your homepage to a specified URL. If the above doesn't work, I'd suggest getting some antivirus/spyware software and figure out what file is infected.

hi, popcorn.net is a disgusting and infamous site with virus. and the virus can hack your IE browser.
i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

I highly recommend you download SUPERantispyware. It will remove popcorn.net. It is VERY VERY effective and it is free.
