because women want to be part of something, Avon is cheap and it gives them the opportunity to do something? I don't know. Women are generally bored, I think.

Because they make it look so easy. And they target the most slovenly lazy women around, all who think its no work whatsoever.
Most fizzle out and stop, but the few that stick around pull in plenty of money for the corporation.
