There are several anime magazines, Anime Insider and Newtype are two that deal with just anime with articles on shows and such (and just a not, someone answered earlier in a way that made it sound like Newtype was inexpensive . . . It's not, a year subscription is about $100) For a magazine that has fewer article but a lot of manga, Shojo Beat or Shounen Jump are the ones to go with. The only one I read on a regular basis is Newtype, but I also pick up Shounen Jump from time to time.

Newtype, Shojo Beat, Shonen Jump are good ones. Its about 30 dollars for a 12-month subsciption. But you can just buy it at a bookstore for about 5-6 dollars!

Shonen Jump [its like 5 dollars at most places, plus you can subscribe to it with the cards inside or shonenjump.com]
Wizard Anime Insider costs about 4 dollars and is pretty basic.
Newtype magazine is one of the better ones though.

I read Shonen jump, usually every month. Costs about $5, and is 360+ pages long, with a lot of manga. I sometimes read Newtype, but it costs more and I dont really like it as much as jump.

There are only 2 english anime mags. Newtype and Anime Insider, they both suck.
Go to Kinokuniya and get the japanese ones and look at the pretty pictures.
