Eco-tech supercharged engine in the cobalt SS over 200 hp Is the best mod. The old "John Wayne" 140 hp motor can hold down the boat dock. To much weight for output.A small block LS-1 369 hp Or LS-2 400 hp are more powerful alternatives. Trust me that engine's day has past. Aluminum Blocks big water jackets and blowers rock! and V-8 400 hp 400#ft small block aluminum engine that weight is about the same why work uphill. And the figures above are stock performance and power. With out cams heads and smaller super charger pulleys and inter coolers. Isn't technology great. 6.0 L ZO-6 corvette engine makes 500 hp. In your little car ZOOM! RUSH! FAST!

remove cylinder head , remove pistons, fill to the brim with portland cement fasten chain to bouy and use for a mooring
