I don't understand why everyone blames Bush, like he is the sole reason the world is so f*%ked up. Do you honestly think one man effects the entire world to that degree? I don't think there is a single person who uses the this website that could handle ONE DAY of Bush's extremely difficult job. So if you have the answers, lets hear'um smart asses. If you don't, then STFU!

Ok, Ok. There isn't one man to blame all the problems on, nor can one man solve all the problems. Our world has been under attack by many individuals, it's only the front men who get the blame for it. The only "hard part" of his job is remembering to use comments which sooth the people, like, peace, freedom, democracy... however are we really being shown ANY of that? So in answer to your question, yes I could do better. I would begin with getting rid of all the corrupt BSers that lurks in our government and big business, and I would return power to the people. I would close down privatized banks which are sucking the average person dry with interest on money they don't even have, except on paper. I would rid the world of religion, take away all the inflated ego's of those who believe their religion is better that anyone elses. I'd let the people decide what to believe. I'd get rid of the media blowing smoke up all of our a$$es and exploit the truth about what is really going on behind the scenes. I'd truly start spreading peace instead of spreading war and violence and covering it up with the words peace, democracy, and freedom. I'd awaken the whole world to what they've been numb to for too long- the fact that a certain few control EVERYTHING that happens: economic crashes, national debt, assassinations, terrorist attacks, wars, media... think about it guys...

I'm critical of Bush, but I wouldn't say I bash him. Still, I don't think I could do a better job. I'd probably stand up for the right things more often, but wouldn't be able to convince many people to go along with me. If I was the President, the country would have probably fallen apart by now.

It seems that your brain is fdup. This country is the leader of the world because it has won independence, W.W.I, W.W.II,and "Cold War".Therefore everything the president says and does affects the world. The extremely smart and rich people decide how the world should be. That is the reason the president has advisers and speech writters, and that is the reason why when the president does not have anything written in front of him he can not answer any question you ask him, with an exception, President Bill Clinton. You dumb ***.

Considering I probably could have earned better grades in the same college program than Bush, I think I might be able to handle it. I mean, it's not like there aren't ZILLIONS of more educated and intelligent people in the world than this guy. You have to realize- he's president because his family is political and he has a shitload of money.

Short answer- my big toe could do a better job.

I don't think Bush did it all himself - he is nothing but a puppet! Someone is pulling the strings!

My suggestions on doing a better job:
1. Don't go looking for wars
2. When American citizens are in harms way, DO SOMETHING!
3. When there are people here from other countries breaking our laws, do something about it - kick them out!
4. Keep your religion out of your place of employment.
5. If it is broken, fix it!
6. Don't let your daddy tell you what to do at your job or how to do it (unless he is your boss. . .)
7. Don't line the pockets of your oil buddies, and then look the other way.
8. Don't use the deaths of 3,000 + Americans as a reason to go into a country you wanted to invade but couldn't
9. Always have a plan B, C, and D
10. Don't act so uneducated - you don't look like you are a "common man" - you look stupid.

Whats funny about liberals...They criticize but you will NEVER hear anything well should have went about it this way. Or even constructive criticism.

Why? Because they have no answers. They are just riding the "we hate Bush" band wagon and hoping for the best.

Whats even funnier is the people that say the Middle East is Bush's fault. Yes, thousands of years of conflict between these two parties is all our 60 year old President's fault.

I could not have said it better myself. There are a lot of people who hate the President for a variety of reasons: They hate Christians, Conservatives (Pres is not total Conservative).

I am a Conservative and am very displeased with a lot of what is going on. Here are my solutions.

1. Allow Americans to VOLUNTARILY take their money and put it into private Social Security accounts, like they did in Galvaston, TX in the 1980's. The returns there are 2-3 times the returns of Social Security. In addition, the stock market has had a better return than any returns from Social Security over the same timeframe. Since employees have 12% of their earnings comfiscated by the government (6% paid by employee and 6% paid by the employeer on behalf of the employee) Take 2/3rds of it and allow people to do what they wish with it. Take the 1/3 and use it to solidify the current system by putting the money in a trust fund, instead of spending it every year.

2. Do the same thing for Medicare, part A-D and make people pay their own insurance.

3. Freeze all government spending immediately. Mandate a 5% overall decrease in spending every year for the next 5 years. Cut all the entitlements.

4. Implement a national flat sales tax. Eliminate all taxes on wealth and income because it destroys economic growth. Manufacturing would come back because there would be no tax on labor or capital. The only proposal I have seen like this is the Fair Tax.

5. Pass a Constitutional Amendment defining marriage between 1 man and 1 woman. Make illegal all false marriages like civil unions. Pass a federal law that allows any citizen to will anything to whomever they want without any taxes at any level of wealth.

6. Impeach 5 of the 9 Supreme Court Judges: Kennedy, Ginsberg, Stevens, Brier, and Souter. They make up laws constantly see the recent Emminent Domain decision. Put judges on the court like Roberts, Scalia, Thomas, and Alito. If you want to learn about how judges should act, read Mark Levin's book Men in Black. I have the priviledge to listen to Mark in NY and he is brilliant.

7. Make it a felony punishable by death to publish leaked classified information. Go after the NY Times for publishing classified operations.

8. Get the government out of the business of government schools. They stink and are useless. They cannot train our kids to function in the real world. Democrats and liberals have a monopoly on information

Government schools taught by teachers who belong to a union that has always supported Democrats for President.

Hollywood movies and tv, run by liberals and socialists.

Colleges taught by communist professors, most who could not hold a real job.

It is not healthy to have our kids taught by people who hold 1 ideology. Where are Republicans in this mix?

9. Unleash American forces in Iraq. Kick out all media. Kill whomever needed to win peace. Repect civilians, but understand that we cannot avoid killing innocents in this kind of war. Once Iraq can protect itself, go after Iran, Syria, North Korea, or whomever else we need to. If we implement the Fair Tax, we will cripple China and their aid to our enemies will cease. If we open America to oil drilling and stop appeasing the crazy tree huggers, we will need much less oil from the Middle East. THE ONLY WAY WE GET PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST IS WINNING IT BY VIOLENCE AND KILLING A LOT OF ARABS.

Once we are done there, kick the United Nations out of New York and pull the US out of it. It is a useless group of (I will leave this blank for decency reasons.)

This is just some of what I would do. I think you make a great point and hope my answer shows some love.

Doing nothing at all would be better. He should stay on vacation. At least he's not looking for new ways to do away with the Bill of Rights then.

Yes I could. I'd disolve government and let people sort themselves out. That's true democracy - not voting for people who ignore you once they've got their cushy jobs and paycheques.

As for you saying "if you can't do better, shut up" - that is completely irrational. Do you agree with EVERYTHING in america how it is? Oh, you don't? Well sorry, could YOU do better than your glorious leader? No? So STFU!
