Can't go wrong with either guy. But in this case I would say Edge against the 49 DEF. Can you only start 1 RB? Cause if not I would start both unless you somehow have someone even better than Jackson. Good luck!

Start James. San Fransisco has the 30th best defense out of 32 teams Denver is ranked ninth. Despite the fact that I think that James's numbers will worsen this season (I think Jackson will have a better season) I would start him because of the opponent.

Start Edge...San Fran's defense is not strong against the run, whereas Denver will limit Steven Jackson by pulling John Lynch into the box....Good Luck!

Start Edge. Also interested in what kind of morons you are playing with in which you got both Steven Jackson and Edge.

You gotta go with Edge, The Cards are going to try and prove what a well balanced team they are so Edge should get plenty of carries and some chances in the red zone

start them both! who else do you have, Larry Johnson? it's bad enough I'm supposed to believe you have Jackson and Edge (unless this is a 4 team league)
