oh yeah it is illegal..he is one year from 18..you can land him in jail and no normal 17 year old boys fall for 12 year olds...and he does not want you..he wants you only for sex..dam when i was 12 i was not ready for boyfriends..gesh you kids grow up fast..but as a 35 year old woman who has lived longer than you and know more about the world am here to tell you lol no normal boy of that age falls in love with a 12 year old girl ..in fact they don't really fall in love just lust..so if u are a smart girl ..move on and play with your barbies OK

What do you think he has on his mind?
Why would he be interested in her to begin with?
Who's going to 18 sooner?
Not only can he be charged as an adult in a sex related situation, it's just plain wrong no matter how you look at it.

Most states have laws about relations with people under 14 or 15 in addition to 18 years old. (Plus, why would any sane 17 year old want to date a 12 year old? There is a huge maturity difference.)

you know what? i'm gonna tell you something, but you better listen to me. I had this friend a long time ago. She was 13, pretty, nice body, but though she was fat, and had really low selfesteem. She thought the worst of herself, and even wanted to become bulimic or something. One day, she met this guy. He was 17 and he was really nice to her. He told her how beautiful she was, and fed her a lot of bullshit. To her, he was the best thing that ever happened to her. She was so voulnerable at this time because she thought nobody loved her, so she fell in love with him. She never loved herself, so she expected him to lover her for her. He finally convinced her to sleep with him, which she did. Everytime he asked. And a few weeks later, he dumped her. She was crushed. She went from bad to worse......... until she met another guy. an 18 year old. and as you can imagine, the whole thing started all over again.
let me tell you something, guys that date young girls only use them and leave them. They can't get girls their own age, so they go for young voulnerable ones that are less experienced. He's a loser. All guys that do that are. Don't let him fool you. And yes, it is illegal. but also wrong. Get someone your own age, they'll have the same experience as you. Long answer: Are you out of your mind? The only thing a 17yr old guy has on his mind is usually sex, more sex, and having a great time. A 12 yr old is a little too immature for the 17 yr old.
The age of consent in most states says 16. And the statues are for 5 years after the age of 16.

It's illegal for them to have intercourse. They can get into trouble. But, really? They can be friends... even when he's over 18... But after 18, he'll get into trouble for statutory rape if they have intercouse. A 12 year old is very young to be kicking it with a 17 year old boy. So be careful, and talk to your parents or friends. k?

A 17 year old guy should be able to get a girl closer to his own age. Unless he's a loser.
