Balance and scale. The balance measures against a known mass. The scale measures the gravitational force on the mass.

A balance beam, something like a teeter totter, is a simple tool for measuring mass. Put the unknown mass on one end and pile up known masses on the other until the beam is exactly balanced. By having the known and unknown masses on the opposite ends of the same beam, which is in the same location, the effects of gravity (weight) are canceled out.

If you are not interested in high precision and accuracy, simply weigh the unknown object (e.g., in pounds) and divided your result by 32.17405 ft per sec sec, which is the acceleration due to gravity at Earth's surface. The English unit for mass is called a slug. For this, you can use an ordinary bathroom scale.

the human hand does a great job ( in a gravity field any scale measures mass and by using water any waterproof scale can even measure mass density which is probably what you want ) ( in the above there is a direct correlation between mass and weight BUT MASS DENSITY is measured by weighing underwater and measuring the amount of water the object displaces )

certain it can be interpreted in that way. even as gravity dramatically adjustments the different values do as well. more proper gravitation field = slower time bypass. get mutually: If 3600s on earth = 1s in some black hollow, then % of v=100km/s in black hollow = 100km/h from the earth attitude. meaning once you degree time in black hollow from the earth it is going to seem a lot slower then the time on earth, yet when u degree it from the black hollow it will be commonplace.
