Oh Richard, If we nuke the middle east some one will ALWAYS step in to take their place. How many more children must die before we end the war civilly.

This would not provide the world with "much needed peace", just the opposite. Our credibility with most of the rest of the world has already been destroyed by this administration, and it will take Superheroes to restore it. Where did we ever get the idea that it's a good idea to destroy people who are a nuisance to us? Nuclear war is MAD (mutually assured destruction) and no sane or smart person would consider starting one. We can't maintain our "superpower status" by bullying the rest of the world. We are all in this together. It's about time we all woke up and stopped acting like a bunch of morons, who are being exploited by some very evil and greedy people.
Follow the money! Who is getting rich from all this - the oil companies, the contractors and the US government (at least according to Exxon). Are they cycling the money back into projects that will develop energy sources which are not owned or controlled by nut cases? No. Are they using that money to improve our security, repair our levees, build new schools, encourage manufacturing in the US or for any legitimate cause which can benefit us in general? No!
Who would you suggest we nuke in the Middle East? Some country? All countries? Please we are not all such idiots!

Geography is the problem.
A-bombs explode only so wide.
The land in the middle east is very big, so it would take a LOT of A-bombs to cover everything.
Next, the ground is dirt and mountains. All that dirt would push up into the sky and spread everywhere - including onto all of us!
Not good for everyone.
In the end, all the world would be in bad shape.
The middle east has been fighting since there were history written about the world. And it will continue long into the future.
Fighting is the only thing those people know.

It seems you have a short memory. Back in the first Gulf War, some insurgents set fire to some of the oil wells and it caused a huge cloud that blocked out the sun for several days and made it difficult to breathe. Professional firefighters that deal with oil rig fires had to be brought in from the states to put them out.
That was a fire. Imagine what a nuke with aaaallllll that oil will do to the environment. You don't think something like that will have an effect on us on this side of the planet?
You have a Jewish state in the middle of seven Arab/Islamic states. Yes,for centuries the Jews and Arabs got along together because the Jews were kept in their place and allowed to remain in the region as a minority. I beleive it was Abolitionist Frederich Douglass who wrote,"No society can grow unless it uses the labor of another". Upon the creation of Israel, the Arabs lost their minority and didn't have anyone to push around.

These people have been at each others throats for THOUSANDS of years. Every other peace agreement brokered over the last several thousands of years lasts about 20 minutes. You must admit that nuking them off the face of the earth is the only other thing that hasn't been tried in order to bring about a lasting peace in the Middle East, and ultimately the rest of the world.
Remember, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. If it hasn't worked in thousands of years, maybe it's time to start thinking "outside of the box". Just a thought.

If we nuke them, we need to be prepared for a nuclear holocaust. I wish it was that easy, but the fact of the matter is, the Middle East has always been and always will be in turmoil. I don't think that anything that we do will ever change that fact.

If we just left them alone they would manage to kill themselves off with out our help. But since that is not practical, we need to keep killing as many of those mad dogs as possible. Maybe down the road when or if they succeed in enough acts of war on American soil this country will stop listening to the Lefty's and other islamo-fascist sympathisers and drop a few neutron bombs and take out the whole bunch of them. They are only still alive now because the leaders we have today don't have the balls of the last generation.
Ever heard of Dresden, Hiroshima, or Nagasaki? Ever heard the term Fire bombing . Ever see any photos of Berlin towards the end of WW2? Those fools have no idea how lucky they are that America has not fully awakened to the danger, yet. They haven't seen NOTHING.

When you say nuke. What about the fall out. The contamination of radio activity. The innocent lives taken. That is pure hatred your preaching. Bush is right, we should stay on with the peace process and the last resort would be nuclear wepons once all other avenues are exausted. Besides Iran will be the first then Korea will come against us to aid the Iranians the Russia will come against us also and that is when we will know that world war 3 is here. I call that the Rapture that the Christians speak of. In the twinkling of an eye. We will be with Jesus in the clouds.

It would be like pouring water on an anthill. We've all done it. Watch them all scurry around, then maybe disappear. The ants always come back, because like hate, the queen is still alive. And the queen will be pissed. Unless you can stop the hate towards the US, there will always be terrorism and strife. As long as there is hatred between Semites and Muslims, there will be trouble, forever. Squishing a country or two over there won't cure anything. It may pause the festivities, but otherwise it will continue.

No offense, but thats stupid. If any country in the world uses "nukes", it will open a door allowing other countries to use them. The middle-east has been fighting for thousands of years. Theres really nothing going to change that. Especially not Bushes stupid-*** idea of capitalizing the area.

Most of the world still doesn't understand the threat, and actually believes that the US or Israel is the main problem in the world. I'll get flamed for being politically incorrect, but radical muslims are the main problem right now, and without the millions and millions of good ones standing up and denouncing everything the fanatics do, it will continue to spread until everyone else in the world is a minority.
