I takes light 4 earth years to travel 4 light-years. (Amazing how that works out, that's why it's called a light-year). So, if you traveled at the speed of light, it would be 4 years on earth and none for you.

If you travel at the peed of light from one star to earth you should bring a lot of food because the food would disappear so quickly at the speed of light..in eight years. You may even be almost starved to death while you are returning back to earth and it would be immatereial how many days have past by!

Assuming you are travel ling at light speed your mass will be infinite hence you will disappear in a logical impossibility so you will never reach earth.

well light travels at 186000 miles per second right so I multiply that 60 times because there are 60 seconds in a minute,so the answer is 11160000 then I multiply that by 60 again sice there are 60 minutes in an hour, the answer is 669600000,then I multiply it by 24,the answer is 16070400000,then I multiply it by 365,the answer is 5865696000000 then I multiply that by four and the final answer is:23462784000000 years.

It is impossible.

Therefore, the question is impossible to answer.

But 4 years.

Approaching the speed of light though, assuming you could survive (you couldn't), it would be possible to complete the trip in only seconds relative to you!

Good question..
Only time passing for you will be during you acceleration & deceleration to & from light speed..
Making it 4 years plus your accelerating & decelerating time
