Include them in your plans. They are only kids once. You don't want them to remember that you were too busy for them. It's not about your ex, it's all about your children.

If u get ur kids on a regular bases.. (every other weekend ect) then her adult time is when the kids are with u , that gives her 2 weekends a month to do what ever she wants to do.. U are the childrens father not her personal babysitter.. if u want to take advantage of that time with ur kids, thats ur choice, but if u already had plans then u tell her sorry but she'll need to hire a babysitter.. Now IF u dont normally get ur kids on a regular bases, then yes she is entitled to a break and u need to step up to the plate and be a father.. but if not, Dont let her use the kids to guilt you into babysitting for her, its one thing if its an emergency, another just so she can go party or whatever..

no you are entitled to a life as well as your ex is. you cant just stop and leave everything when your ex expects you to, so no dont feel guilty, you ex should feel guilty for not taking more responsibility of the kids instead of thinking about themselves

You shouldn't. What my friend tells his ex is "you're the one who told me you didn't want me in the house. Maybe if we still lived together, I'd be able to help you out."

If it is not your designated time to ne there, keep your plans. You need your time too...........or does your ex feel you don't. divorced and they still want to call the shots.(&(*(_)*(%$%)
