my friend went to africa and was muged she has no family and no money she has been in the hospital.but now she has been released and went to the airport but they said she had been in africa to long now and her ticket was no good now.does any one have any ideas on how to get her home i dont have any money to send her is their any other way she can get home.

She needs to contact her embassy in the country where she is. As others have said, if you do not know this person or can verify that this person is who she says it is, then BEWARE, it is a SCAM.

First have you met this or did you know this person before she went to Africa? If not, then tell this person good by and forget about her. This is one of the ways people in Africa Conn or Scam people here. They give you this song and dance story about there bad luck, and ask if you can help. Don't get caught up in this unless you know this person. I had a woman friend that had her I.D stolen, I got email saying she was in Nigeria and could not pay her hotel bill. And ask if I could send $580.00. I ask questions that only her and I would know the answer to. I wrote out the question and left blanks and told her to fill in the spaces, who ever they were could not do this, so I knew it was not her. So far I have had 4 different ones try to scam me from Africa. So take it from a pro, if you don't know this person, drop it like a hot potato. Here is the web site for the F.B. I. www.lc3.gov. Tell her to get in contact with the American Consulate/Embassy in that African country and explain her situation, the hospital stay and expired ticket

I think she is married to one of the local chiefs and he wont let her to go to her country......
