No, this just shows that the guy is well educated and appreciates the nicer things in life.
If he goes around quoting labels and manufacturers, then he is gay.

Classy is a valid term for looking good.
It is a proper use of the English language.
I would be flattered if some gentleman said I looked "classy" or I was a classy chick.
It would never enter my mind that he was gay.
It may reveal he has some education or refinement...or even a good sense of fashion or a better than average judgement in women.

Men can describe things are classy. That is a great word to describe a modest style. Men shouldn't have to fit into a stereotype and just be themselves. I would respect the guy personally, it means he has great taste or at least knows what looks good to him.

It means that he has good taste.
Why are men so freakiishly sensitive (most men, I should say...not all) about revealing a side to themselves that doesn't involve beer and corn dogs? Why can't men understand that being neat, clean, appreciating beauty and the like doesn't make him less of a man, but a more well-rounded man? Gay men really must intimidate some of these straight guys. Not only can they fix the toilet, they can charm the pants off anyone.

It is totally okay for a guy to describe something as classy. In fact, it should be a great compliment, because he means whatever it is, clothes, furniture, etc, it makes you seem like you are taking good care of yourself and you have self respect.

Gay = being sexually attracted to the same sex.
Describing clothes or furniture as being "classy" = a demonstration of taste.
I've never heard the two equated before. Yes, it's possible for a heterosexual to have good taste. You heard it here first.

Men, regardless of sexual preference, can be cultured and refined..personally I do not care for the word "classy." That being said, I know men straight and gay who have exquisite taste in interiors, attire, fragrances and food. I hate to see them all stereotyped as slobs.

It's fine it just means he has taste and all he is doing is describing how he thinks the item looks as in looking good/expensive/not out of place in a magazine
You should be pleased your guy knows his own mind and has taste not worrying about pathetic childish stuff like "does he sound gay".
Try to act mature enough to deserve him

This guy is expressing is taste in these things. Everyone has a preference be it contempoary, modern or traditional.
Your taste has nothing to do with your sexual being.
It's a sad thing that these days people are so concerned about something like this.
There are real problems in this world but who is gay or straight is not on that list.

That is just too silly. Something is either classy or not, can't see gay or straight in a word.
