I have noticed an epidemic lately........BAD PUNCTUATION!!! I get that not everyone is going to be a grammar whiz. I get that a colon and a semicolon ar VERY similar, etc... But, come on! What is with people who don't know the difference between a plural and a possessive?! I can't be the on;y one bugged by this, can I?

Sorry, there's an error in the bottom. The word only is on;y. oops, I used spell check. Oh, well. All I am saying is that it looks much more proffessional to use punctuation properly. I am not saying these people are idiots. Far from it. It bothers me because it it so easy to understand, and it looks so much better if you can get a grasp on how to spell, punctuate, etc. Not knowing how could cost someone a job or a raise. And, as far as people from other countries.......I am not attacking anyone here. I am not pretending that I could go to France and never make a faux pas. I have seen educated, American-born adults doing this. I am simply asking if it bothers anyone else.

No because you have millions of people on here from different countries. NOT EVERYONE is a friggin teacher's pet.

Grow up if a little thing like that bugs u; u need some serious mental help!
Be an adult and over look people's mistakes or one day someone may bring up all of ur's

It bugs me too.
I also hate the misuse of "your" and "you're."
I didn't attack your "on;y" because we are talking about grammar errors, not typographical errors.
