Just wonder, but why do dogs look like thier ownors....?

MOST dogs look like their owners.....such as I look like my beagle....don't answer dumbly this is a question not a dumb free-for-all

I think it all depends on the owner's choice first and foremost. For example, a tough guy might pick a tough looking dog as a pet. Then they compliment each other and subconsciously people begin to associate the person's tough traits with the dog's tough traits. Then they see the similarities more clearly and believe they look the same. In actuality they don't really look the same. It's merely an illusion.

I didn't know I looked like Sammy Davis, Jr. That's who MY dog looks like.....

I really do not know. But I have seen some doozies around. But my dogs do not look like me, I look like them. Sad isn't it?
