One problem with the term "morality" is that it tends to have a different definition for each person. Or it should except that a number of people tend to turn that decision over to whoever they accept as an authority figure.

That little aside finished, I'd have to say that neither party might be considered the "moral" or " immoral" party. Democrats, in general, may be seen as immoral due to their willingness, on the whole, to back concepts like gay rights or ceasing operations in Iraq. Republicans, on the other hand, may be considered immoral for starting the conflicts in the Middle East and recklessly spending our money until a massive deficit has been amassed.

It's all in the beholder's belief. Like the previous answerer indicated, "morality" in politics is just not that easy to define much less label.

In this corner, we have the undisputed champion of current american politics. The get into your personal business, complain about paying too much in taxes, want to kill anything that does not look or talk like it....the republicans. Now, it this corner, the challenger that is building momentum in a possible upset due to the current leaders bad policies. The tree hugging, the can we just all get along, the "we should all drive electric cars as long as the batteries don't hurt the enviorment"........Dem-O-crats. Now I want a clean fight. No using military force or fondling below the belt. Use of nuclear weapons and sit ins are absolute prohibited and will cause disqualification or deportation. Shake hand, wait for the bell, and come out fighting.

It depends on what you call immoral. I don't think either is any better than the other when it comes down to it. Maybe Dems have an occasional fling in the oval office. But the Reps are into wire tapping and padding thier own pockets, claiming war is good for the economy, .....gee when you put it on paper, I guess the Reps do sound a little more immoral to me.

Repuglicans because hypocrites are always immoral. They think it is wrong to abort a fetus but it is ok to bomb little children, they write it off as collateral damage and think nothing more about it. They insist that woman have unwanted children but refuse to pay the taxes that would help take care of them. They vote for a coke snorting, alcoholic, with no morals that starts a war for personal gain and then they back him all the way. Those are only a few examples as to why repuglicans are immoral, there are many, many, more.

NEWSFLASH: Rand isn't the 'new darling of the Republican get mutually' so your question is outfitted on a pretend premise. Rand became a uber-Libertarian-aetheist. Her smart perspectives on governments' inevitable fashion in the direction of tyranny do, even with the undeniable fact that, jibe with those who trust authorities's interest is in ordinary words to grant Constitutionally permitted danger-free practices & help for electorate & agencies even as staying the hell out of their way.

The Republicans are known for being idiots... and usually are religious people to an extent... Or that's a way of looking at it.

But! The Democrats are known as the immoral people... look at Clinton.

I'm not really sure who I'd vote for... I'll figure it out in three years.

Neither. There are immoral people in both.

Republicans boast about being christian and moral, but they are also well known now for corruption and hating the poor.

Dems talk about being humanitarian and in favor of the poor, but are short when it comes to putting military force behind it and they also take money as easily and any Republican.

Both parties have done immoral things in the name of politics. i really don't think any one is better or worse than the other. It just sort of depends on what you personally support. Both Democrat and Republican presidents have been in charge at times of war, depression, and catastrophe. And, all of them have been slammed for how they handled it (or didn't).

well... this question is just too political..
I'm a firm democrat (I'd like my government to support me than oil and big business) however, it would be completely naive to think that either party is without an agenda.

To answer your question though, I believe that dems are definitely the most on track, at least our presidents only screw their secretaries, not the entire world.
